Game 6: O.C. can't quite stay with Tri-City Knights

     PASCO - Okanogan County Commandos wrapped up its first year in existence with a 28-6 exhibition game loss to No. 12-ranked Tri-City Knights May 7 at Edgar Brown Stadium.
     Coach Malcolm Townsend said the Commandos finishing at 2-4 in exhibition games showed that the team, composed of county athletes, could play on par with other teams in the Evergreen Football League.
     The Commandos are set to join the EFL in 2006.
     Gabe Grooms, filling in for injured defensive coordinator Ed Ashworth, was named defensive player of the game. He finished with eight solo tackles, an assist and a sack.
     Bryan Attridge was named offensive player of the game. He finished with 20 yards rushing on 12 carries and caught three passes for 39 yards.
 
Game 5: Payback is sweet, Commandos stuff No. 8 Shockers 31-17

     Okanogan County Commandos reduced its turnovers and shocked the South Sound Shockers 31-17 April 30 at Okanogan High School.
     The Shockers entered the game on a three-game win streak and ranked No. 8 in the west for semi-professional teams.
     Shawn Townsend was named defensive player of the game after blocking a field goal, grabbing an interception and finishing with 17 tackles.
     The offensive line was named offensive players of the game.
 
Game 4: Shockers edge Commandos 23-20

     OLYMPIA - Okanogan County Commandos dominated statistically but came up just short in a 23-20 loss to the South Sound Shockers April 24 near Olympia.
     Jed Whittaker was named offensive player of the game for several catches that totaled more than 120 yards.
     Jeff Reidt was named defensive player of the game for his work on the defensive line.
 
Game 3: OCC plays nationally-ranked Knights close

     Okanogan County Commandos fell 20-13 to nationally-ranked Tri-City Knights Mach 26, taking all the tough southern EFL team could dish out at Okanogan High School.
     Defensive player of the game was Shawn Messinger, who finished with 11 tackles and two sacks.
     Not known who was offensive player of the game.
 
Game 2: Commandos notch first victory 7-6

     Okanogan County Commandos slogged through the mud to pull out a 7-6 win over the Columbia Basin Bulls March 19 at Omak High School.
     Defensive player of the game was Ed Ashworth with 13 tackles.
     Adam Attriddge was named offensive player of the game after scoring the winning touchdown on a 44-yard pass from Jordan Horner. No other statistics were reported for Attridge.
 
Game 1: Wenatchee takes Commandos 20-0 in first-ever game

     WENATCHEE - Okanogan County Commandos took to the field for the first time ever, falling 20-0 to an experienced Wenatchee Valley Rams team March 12.
     Shawn Townsend was named defensive player of the game with 13 tackles.
     Brice Boesel was offensive player of the game after rushing 22 times for 104 yards.
