Tri-City Knights topped the Okanogan County Commandos 42-12 in the semi-finals of the Evergreen Football League's playoffs June 4 in Pasco.
The Commandos (6-4 overall, 4-3 league) tried to close the gap to one touchdown just before the half but ran out of time at the two-yard line.
Jeff Nelson scored on a short run in the first half. Garret Strocsher scored on a pass in the second half. Both were named offensive players of the game.
Robby Bradshaw at cornerback was named defensive player of the game with several knocked down passes and an interception.

Okanogan County Commandos, in their first year in the Evergreen Football League, reached the playoffs with a 24-12 win over the State Line Miners May 13 at home.
Jordan Horner was named offensive player of the game after completing 11 of 18 passes for 187 yards and a touchdown.
Adam Attridge and Ed Ashworth shared defensive player of the game honor.
Attridge finished with two interceptions and returned a blocked field goal 62 yards for a touchdown.
Ashworth had two interceptions, including one in the end zone that stopped a Miner scoring drive.

Game 7: O.C. can't stop pass happy Rams

WENATCHEE - Okanogan County Commandos fell 27-12 to the Wenatchee Rams, who used several long passes to pull out the victory May 6.
Offensive players of the game were Jeff Nelson and Craig Danielson.
Nelson rushed 21 times for 107 yards and the team's lone touchdown.
Danielson, who kicked the winning field goal over Yakima, kept the Commandos in the game the first half with field goals of 32- and 30-yards.
Defensive player of the game was Jeff Reidt, who finished with five tackles at nose guard. O.C.'s defense limited the Rams to about 75 yards on the ground, few being up the middle over nose guard.

Game 6: O.C. wins 17-14 in overtime over Yakima

Okanogan County Commandos used a 40-yard field goal by Craig Danielson to win 17-14 over Yakima Mavericks in overtime April 29 at Okanogan High School.
The entire defensive squad was named defensive player of the game after picking off five passes, recovering one fumble and sacking the quarterback twice.

Game 5: Commandos rain on Thunder 27-13

Okanogan County Commandos stole the thunder from Palouse 27-13 April 22 at Okanogan High School.
David Cotner earned offensive player of the game by rushing for 118 yards on 20 carries (5.9 yards a carry).
Shawn Townsend was named offensive player of the game with 14 tackles, two interceptions - one for touchdown - and a fumble recovery.

KENNEWICK - Errors over a 10-minute span led to three quick touchdowns that the Okanogan County Commandos could not overcome in a 34-6 loss to defending league champs Tri-City Knights April 15 at Lampson Field.
Ed Ashworth was named defensive player of the game with seven tackles, four for losses.
Garrett Strocsher was offensive player of the game with five catches for 74 yards and a touchdown.

Game 2: Commandos open first season with 21-13 victory over Spokane

SPOKANE - Commandos hunkered down and brought home their first Evergreen Football League victory in their first game ever in the league 21-13 over the Spokane SaberCats April 1.
David Cotner picked up offensive player of the game honors with 23 rushes for 116 yards (5.04 yards per carry), and a touchdown.
Robbie Bradshaw was named defensive player of the game after finishing with five tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception.

Okanogan County Commandos jumped out to a 23-0 halftime lead and never looked back in winning 36-6 over Columbia Basin Riverhawks March 18 at home.
Jordan Horner was named offensive player of the game. He completed 7 of 11 passes for 220 yards and three touchdowns.
Adam Attridge was named defensive player of the game with nine tackles, three quarterback sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery.
